Pedestrian Hit And Killed By Vehicle In Sterling Heights
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) -- A pedestrian is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle in Sterling Heights on Friday night.
The accident happened at 14 Mile Rd. and Van Dyke, at the border of Warren and Sterling Heights. All northbound lanes in that area were closed as emergency crews responded to the scene of the accident, near the Shops at Sterling Ponds Shopping Center. The driver of the car involved in the accident reportedly did stop after hitting the person.
Police are investigating what caused the accident.
