Pedestrian Fatally Struck By 2 Cars While Crossing 12 Mile Road
MADISON HEIGHTS (WWJ) - Authorities say a man died when he was struck by multiple vehicles while trying to cross 12 Mile Road.
The accident happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday on 12 Mile between John R and Dequindre in Madison Heights.
According to police, a man in his 60s was walking across the road when he was fatally struck by two vehicles. Police say he was wearing dark clothes and was not using the marked cross walk. His name has not yet been released.
The two drivers involved stopped at the scene and were interviewed by investigators. Neither were injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
