DETROIT (97.1 THE TICKET) - Whether he had anything to do with it or not, DeflateGate is sure to taint Tom Brady's legacy.
These are 3 reasons why:
1. The three Super Bowl titles Brady and the Patriots have won have already been questioned since SpyGate in 2007. New England has not won the Super Bowl since.
2. The home field advantage is a clear edge for all NFL teams, but particularly for the Patriots. Counting the playoffs, they are 18-1 home and just 9-7 on the road the last two years. A coincidence? Maybe not.
3. Sometimes Brady's legendary ability to turn seemingly marginally talented receivers into stars seem too good to be true. Perhaps it is.
