Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Says Calf Feeling Better After Bye

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Aaron Rodgers says his injured left calf is feeling better after he had treatment during Green Bay's bye week.

The Packers quarterback said Tuesday on his weekly radio show on ESPN 540 in Milwaukee that re-injuring the calf in Sunday's divisional round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys was not a concern.

Rodgers says that "if it happens, it happens. At that point it's out of my control."

The quarterback first hurt the calf three weeks ago in Tampa Bay. He left the regular-season finale against Detroit in the second quarter because of the injury before returning in the third to help the Packers win 30-20.

Green Bay was off Tuesday. Rodgers will be reevaluated Wednesday to determine the practice plan for the rest of the week.
