Murder Charges To Be Added In Attack On Elderly Sterling Heights Couple
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - An attack on an elderly Sterling Heights couple is now a murder case. Police say 89-year old Frank Bogucki who was beaten and robbed a week ago died over the weekend.
Detectives are expected to seek murder charges against the Detroit man who was arrested a day after the attack at the Bogucki home on Jason Court near 19 Mile and Schoenherr.
The Macomb Daily reported that police suspect the couple may have been followed home from the restaurant where they were dining on Thursday night.
His wife, who was also robbed, had cuts and bruises -- she is expected to recover.
The suspect will be arraigned in 41A District Court.
