The news that eight Kansas City Royals and Mike Trout would start the All-Star game if the voting ended Monday has upset fans across the country.
I personally don't have a problem with it at all, and if you do in fact have a problem with the system, then feel free to click HERE and vote for your favorite players.
The folks at WDIV tweeted to Miguel Cabrera, who is currently in second place voting among first baseman behind Eric Hosmer, about how they want to see Cabrera in the All-Star Game.
(Even if Cabrera isn't voted a starter, of course, you can take it to the bank he will still make the team.)
Cabrera's response to the tweet was about as classy as it could be.
"Thank you for your support, but is better seen the tigers in the first place," he wrote on Twitter.
That is a team player right there, and I think it's safe to say he may have just gained a few more votes.
