Michigan Student Hires Fake Family For Hilarious Christmas Card [PHOTO]

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Remember all those "awkward family photos" and "people of Walmart" memes that used to crowd your social media feed?

A Saginaw Valley State University student has come up with something new:  The fake family you always wished you had.

Student Josh Brassow, 25, posted a memorable gallery with a tatooed and heavily pregnant and smirking woman in a sparkly sweater, and two surly children -- presumably his -- to confound his friends and family.

He's single.

He wrote that he wanted to "baffle my aunts, uncles, and especially my grandparents." He probably managed that with the well wishes at the bottom of the card that include greetings from Patty "Bone Crusher" and the boys, Blade and Thor.

Congratulations, sir, well played. Brassow said he paid $50 for 100 cards. The photographer volunteered services for free, as any creative type would when confronted with such an opportunity.

So, what's next? He noted that the photo appears to be mysteriously missing from his parents' mantle, so he's working on printing out a larger version to display there.
