Michigan Alum Casino Owner Stands To Win $1 Million On Spartans

Derek Stevens, a Michigan alum and the owner of The D Casino in Las Vegas, has $1 million reasons to root for the Michigan State Spartans in the Final Four.

Back in December, Stevens placed a $20,000 bet that Michigan State at 50-to-1 odds would win this year's NCAA tournament.

If the Spartans win the title, Stevens would pocket a cool $1 million.

So, what would he do with his winnings?

"If I win, I'll give some bonus money to my employees," Stevens told ESPN. "I also want to give some money to the [Jerry] Tarkanian Basketball Academy, and the rest I will reinvest in my properties."
