Mich St Confirms Harris Is Transferring To School
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State has confirmed guard Eron Harris is transferring to the school from West Virginia.
Spartans coach Tom Izzo says Wednesday the program is fortunate to add one of the best shooters in the country, adding he played for a great program and coach.
After sitting out a year, Harris will be able to play during the 2015-16 season when Michigan will need to replace current guard Travis Trice.
The 6-foot-3 Harris averaged 17.2 points last season as a sophomore, ranking fourth in the Big 12. He made .422 percent of his 3-point attempts, ranking third in the conference. He scored a team-high 9.8 points per game two years ago as a freshman.
