Man Shot While Standing In Driveway Of Northwest Detroit Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are searching for two suspects after a 40-year-old man was shot while standing in the driveway of his home in northwest Detroit.
The shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. Friday at a home on Santa Barbara Drive, in a neighborhood along Livernois Avenue just south of 7 Mile Road.
Police say the man was standing in front of his driveway when two suspects approached and tried to rob him. The victim fought with the men until he was shot in the back.
The suspects, who were in dark clothes, ran away.
The man was taken to the hospital and was last reported in serious condition.
No arrests have been made.
