Man Shot, Killed While Sitting In His Car On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) -- A man is dead after he was shot several times inside a car on Detroit's east side on Friday.
Sergeant Cassandra Lewis told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the victim was sitting in a white Mercedes while talking with someone standing at the window on Joseph Campau St. around 5 p.m.
A black Dodge Charger pulled up next to them and the suspect jumped out of the back seat, pushed the person standing outside the vehicle out of the way, fired inside and got back in the car to drive away.
Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call police.
