Man Shot Dead Outside Of East Side Detroit Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are trying to determine why a man was shot to death outside of his home on Detroit's east side.
The shooting happened early Tuesday morning in the driveway of a home on Gruebner and Park Grove, just south of 7 Mile Road and Outer Drive.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was found by his wife in the backyard. He was declared dead at the scene. According to reports, the wife heard her husband arrive home and then a commotion broke out, followed by gunfire.
One person, believed to be the suspect, was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Other circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately clear. An investigation is ongoing.
