Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Downtown Detroit [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Detroit on Friday evening.

At around 5:45 p.m. the 64-year-old victim was struck by a silver Chevy Impala as he walked across a crosswalk at Randolph and Larned. The car didn't stop and continued going after hitting the victim.

The man was transported to the local hospital where he later died.

Police do not have a description of the driver of the vehicle, but believe the Impala had tinted windows and a sunroof.

An investigation is ongoing.
