DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are searching for a pair of gunmen who fired more than two dozen shots at a home on the city's west side, killing a man who was on the porch.

The shooting happened Monday night on Sorrento Street, in a neighborhood near Schaefer Highway and Fenkell Avenue.

Investigators say it appears that two people walked up and fired a barrage of bullets into the home.

A 23-year-old man who was on the porch was shot dead. Other people were inside the home at the time,  but no one else was injured.

The suspects fled the scene and are still being sought by police. Descriptions were not immediately available.
