Man Killed In Crash Along 8 Mile Road
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say a man was killed when his vehicle crashed into a tree along the border of Detroit and Hazel Park.
The accident happened early Tuesday morning on 8 Mile Road just west of I-75.
According to police, the man was traveling westbound on 8 Mile Road when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree in the median. Other circumstances surrounding the accident weren't immediately clear.
The man, whose name was not released, was declared dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
