Man Injured As Shots Ring Out On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities are trying to figure out what prompted a possible shootout on Detroit's west side that left at least one person injured.
The incident unfolded early Tuesday morning in the 2600 block of Lothrop, near West Grand Boulevard and Linwood Street just east of I-96.
Police on the scene wouldn't give away many details, except to say that the situation might have involved a shootout. Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.
At least one man received a gunshot wound, although his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Information on possible suspects has not yet been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
