Man Critically Injured In Detroit Drive-By Shooting
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for three suspects after a man was shot multiple times while walking down a street on the city's east side.
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday on Celestine Avenue at Young Street, in a neighborhood near Houston Whittier and Chalmers streets.
Police say the 40-year-old victim was walking down Celestine with friends when a silver or gray Jeep drove by and someone inside fired shots.
The victim sustained multiple gunshots wounds and was rushed to a local hospital, where he was last listed in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
Police are now searching for the three people who were inside the Jeep.
