Man Assaulted During Home Invasion Near University Of Michigan Campus
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Police in Ann Arbor are searching for two suspects who broke into a home near the University of Michigan and assaulted a resident.
Police say the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 500 block of S. Division near E. Jefferson, just west of the school's campus.
According to witness statements, two men broke into the home and one of them was brandishing a handgun. The suspects assaulted the resident, who is not affiliated with the university, then fled the scene in a vehicle. Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.
The first suspect is described as an Arabic male, 30- to 35-years-old, 5'5" tall and 160 pounds, wearing a white knit hat, a dark jacket and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a while male, 30-years-old, 6' tall and 170 pounds, with short dark hair, wearing a blue dress shirt and blue jeans.
