Lions Likely Drafting DB On Day 3
ALLEN PARK (AP) - The Detroit Lions have not addressed their biggest need in the NFL draft so far.
The Lions will likely pay attention to helping their secondary on Saturday during the third and final day of the draft.
Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin acknowledges the team hopes to select at least one defensive back with a track record of forcing turnovers.
The Lions drafted North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron in the first round, 10th overall. It traded up five spots to take Brigham Young linebacker Kyle Van Noy in the second round, 40th overall, and took Arkansas center Travis Swanson in the third round, 76th overall.
