Lincoln Park Man Arrested In Parking Lot Hit-And-Run Death
TAYLOR (WWJ) - A 36-year-old Lincoln Park man is in custody accused in the hit-and-run death of another man in Taylor.
Police responded, at around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, to call that a man was lying in a parking lot in the 26900-block of Trolley Drive, in the area of I-94 and Inkster Road.
The victim — who has since been identified as 24-year-old Milton Joel Murillo-Vaqusero of Dearborn — was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told police there was an argument between the two men in the parking lot before Vequsero was struck by the suspect's vehicle and the suspect fled.
Police are continuing to investigate and expect a warrant to be issued by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office on Friday.
At that time, the name of the man charged and details of the charges will be released.
