Lenox Township man arraigned for fatally stabbing brother, officials say
LENOX TOWNSHIP, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Nathan Land, 24, from Lenox Township was arrested following a fatal stabbing, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.
On Sunday around 10:30 p.m., deputies responded to the 57300 block of Millstone Pond Blvd. for an alleged stabbing where Land's 19-year-old brother was not breathing, who is also from Lenox Township. Officials say they got into an altercation.
Deputies arrived and helped assist a witness with CPR until EMS arrived to render aid but the victim died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
Land was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Macomb County Jail.
He was arraigned on Jan. 31 for one count of homicide and his bond was set to $100,000 cash/surety, no 10%.
