Kinsler, Martinez HRs Help Tigers Sweep Indians

DETROIT (AP) - Ian Kinsler hit a go-ahead homer in the seventh and the Detroit Tigers swept a three-game series against Cleveland by beating the Indians 6-4 Sunday.

Kinsler went deep off reliever Bryan Shaw (5-5) to give the Tigers a 4-3 lead. Detroit added two more runs on a wild pitch and a fielder's choice.

Carlos Santana hit an RBI double in the ninth, but Joe Nathan earned his 32nd save and eighth in a row. Reliever Phil Coke (5-2) pitched the seventh

J.D. Martinez hit a solo homer in the fourth and Detroit starter Justin Verlander left with two runners on and two outs in the sixth. Both came home against reliever Blaine Hardy, on an infield single and a hit batter.
