Joique Bell On Michigan-MSU: 'One Of The Craziest Plays I've Ever Seen' [VIDEO]

Joique Bell hasn't played in the last two Lions games, but he's kept busy, even as he's "getting there" in terms of full health.
Last week, his jersey was retired at his alma mater, Wayne State. And on Tuesday, he accepted the Ed Block Courage Award, which is given to an NFL player who displays courage on and off the field. The Ed Block Courage Award Foundation works to help women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
"They awarded me this award but I definitely – the kids who go through the abuse and the women who go through the abuse 24-7, seven days a week, those are the people I want to acknowledge and show there is somebody out there who cares," Bell said. "There is somebody out there who's willing to help. It was my first time really getting in-depth into what the Ed Block Award but I'm definitely planning on some things with the organization pretty soon."
According to the Detroit Free Press, Bell said that he was planning on taking 35 of the kids from the Detroit HAVEN domestic violence shelter on a shopping spree.
When he wasn't accepting his award, Bell said that he had the chance to watch most of the Michigan-Michigan State game this weekend, which quickly turned into a classic when the Wolverines fumbled a punt with 10 seconds remaining, and Michigan State's Jalen Watts-Jackson ran it back for the game-winning touchdown. Bell said that he was in a team meeting when the final play happened, and that he didn't even believe the phone call he got telling him about the muffed punt.
"I was saying, 'That couldn't have happened,'" Bell said. "So I got to the hotel and all the players were talking about it in the training room, and I was like, 'Wow, that did just happen.'"
Bell – like the rest of us – said it was one of the craziest plays he's ever seen.
