Two-time NBA All-Star John Wall thinks he is underpaid.
"I'm getting the same as Reggie Jackson" Wall told Comcast SportsNet on Tuesday.
He continued to compare himself to the Pistons point guard.
"People talk about me getting $80 million, now you got people getting $85 million that haven't made the All-Star game or anything like that. I guess they came in at the right time that the new CBA kicked in, and now they're good. Reggie Jackson gets five years, $80 million. I'm getting the same as Reggie Jackson."
Jackson signed a five-year, $80 million contract with Detroit last week. He has spent most of his career backing up Thunder PG Russell Westbrook, until he was traded to the Pistons during the 2014-2015 season.
Wall has been in the NBA for 5 years, and averages 17.6 points and 8.7 assists per game. Jackson has spent 4 years in the league and averages 9.8 points and 3.6 assists.
Wall did admit that he's happy guys are making good money, and he's just pointing out the CBA and how things have changed.
Does Wall have a valid point that he should be making more money than Reggie Jackson?
