CBS DETROIT - Michigan State sophomore Kenny Kaminski tweeted Saturday that he would no longer play basketball for the Spartans and planned to transfer, and Monday the Spartans released a statement that explained why Kaminski would not be returning.

Kaminski averaged 4.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game last season, and he shot 49.4 percent from beyond the arc.
