My biggest fear at baseball games is also the thing I would want to do the most at a baseball game: Catch a foul ball. The reason I fear it is if I'm not paying attention at the game -- Maybe I'm flirting with a lady, or looking for my wallet on the ground, whatever it may be, I don't want to get hit with a foul ball. Plus without a mitt I don't know if my little hands could catch the ball without them breaking like glass.
I've always wanted to catch a foul ball, but unfortunately have never been lucky enough. Hey, if you are like me and want a foul ball, you can always go to the Tigers authentics stand in the concourse of Comerica Park down the third base line and get a game-used ball for $35.
During a recent Yankees game, my biggest fear came true for one lady in the stands. New York Yankees outfielders Ichiro roped a foul down the first base line and drilled this poor lady.
