I-275 closed at I-94 near Detroit Metro Airport due to flooding
ROMULUS, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Both directions of I-275 are closed at I-94 Thursday morning due to flooding.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, all freeway lanes are blocked.
Motorists are advised not to drive in standing water.
All freeway pump houses are and have been working all day. The large rainfall in short time has over flowed the rivers/creeks where water is pumped into & water pours right back onto the road, like 275 under 94. This will subside only after the nearby creek subsides. https://t.co/10fdjMsvOR
