In the day and age where asking your favorite athlete to go to prom with you gets 10,000 retweets in a heartbeat, it makes this story that much more depressing for the Houston Astros.
The Astros had a great giveaway on their Twitter account.
All they asked for was 1,000 retweets to give away a Jose Altuve autographed baseball. It's not like Altuve is a slouch, he won the friggen AL batting title.

As of now, you can see there were only 727 retweets.
The tweet that followed it from the Astros is as depressing as it gets.
