Hearing Resumes In Slayings Of Two Westland Teens

WESTLAND (WWJ/AP) -- A pair of suspects accused in the July 2012 robbery and murder of two Westland teenagers were back in court Monday.

A witness testified that 25-year-old Fredrick Young and 23-year-old Felando Hunter pulled guns on the teens when they arrived at an east-side Detroit home -- allegedly to buy drugs -- the night police believe they were robbed and killed.

Witness Stephany Seawright testified Monday during cross-examination and said there was no doubt to what she saw.

"I saw it (the gun) in his hand," Seawright said. "I'm not guessing -- I saw it."

Seawright said that 18-year-old Jacob Kudlah and 17-year-old Jourdan Bobbish begged for their lives before they were killed.  Testimony in the preliminary exam is scheduled to resume on Wednesday.

The hearing continued Monday and resumes for a third day Wednesday. Detroit District Judge Michael Wagner will decide whether to send the case to trial in Wayne County Circuit Court.

Young's cousin Brendan Hall testified last week that the teens came to a home to buy drugs but were robbed and forced into a car trunk.
