Green Monday Extends Online Shopping Deal Season

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Shoppers who didn't get up early for Black Friday deals, and couldn't connect on Cyber Monday, have one more chance to snag deals online with Green Monday.
The second Monday of December is reportedly the third busiest online shopping day, and can trace its roots back to 2009 when it was named by eBay for its busiest sales day of the month.
MarketWatch stated that there was $1.4 billion in sales last year.
Some of the sales this year include:
- Amazon is offering a new, limited time deal every 10 minutes
- Computers, cameras, televisions and other items on sale at Best Buy
- Clothing, jewelry and electronics are among the sales at eBay
- Carson's, JC Penney and Macy's all have Friends and Family sales which run through Monday
- Appliances, tablets and toys are among the sale items at Walmart
For those who are still looking for additional sale days can wait until Dec. 18, which is Free Shipping Day.
