Google Adds Pac-Man Feature To Maps

By Edward Cardenas

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Google has added a new feature which gives Google Maps users the opportunity to play Pac-Man through the streets of Southfield, Detroit and other communities.

Users can head to the Google Maps webpage and enter an address. Once the location has been posted, users have the option to see an Earth view or Pac-Man view.

Once the video game option is selected, users can then use their keyboard arrows to maneuver Pac-Man through the streets on the maps.

As the Pac-Man gobbles the pellets, users must also evade the ghosts which are chasing Pac-Man.

The timing of the addition of the video game on March 31 is considered by some online blogs as Google's early April Fools' Day prank.
