Florida Man's Obituary Reads He Was Killed From 'A Uppercut From Batman'

The first movie I owned was "Batman" on VHS, which featured Michael Keaton, and all I can remember about it is I cried because it wasn't an action figure. Seriously, who would ever want a VHS movie over an action figure?
I was 7 years old, and I still question why my parents thought it was OK for me to watch a PG-13 movie. It took me two years to actually watch it, now it is one of my all-time favorites.
Batman must have been Stephen Merrill's favorite character as well. Merrill, from Winter Haven, Fla., passed away Feb. 12, 2015, and his obituary from TheLedger.com reads, "Stephen Merrill, 31, passes away ... due to a uppercut from Batman."
Was Batman really involved in his death? Turns out it was just wishful thinking.
"He would have been honored to have died by an uppercut from Batman," his fiancée Stephanie Vella told a local news source. Apparently the truth is his cause of death was unknown and the Batman joke somehow emerged in the course of writing the obituary, which required a cause of death.
This comes after a Kent, Washington man's obituary read he had died from "the Seahawks lousy play call" earlier this month.
