First Responders From Several Communities Battle Blaze At Recycling Structure

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - First responders from several communities on the scene of a fire in Northville Township.

WWJ Tipsters called into the station around 4 p.m. Sunday reporting a fire near the Arbor Hills Landfill.

The township posted this notice on their website along with several photos from the scene:

The Township received report of a fire near the Arbor Hills Landfill. At 4 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2016, the Northville Township Supervisor visited the site to verify this information. The fire is not part of the landfill. The fire is located at the Great Lake Recycling building behind the landfill near Five Mile Road. Fire departments from surrounding Townships are currently fighting the fire.
