Feeling Lucky? Powerball Jackpot Rises To $300 Million For Wednesday's Drawing
DETROIT (WWJ) - It's one of the biggest Powerball jackpots of the year and it could be all yours!
The prize for Wednesday, Dec. 30's Powerball drawing is estimated at $300 million -- and that figure could grow before the big drawing, which takes place at 10:59 p.m. It's the third largest Powerball jackpot of the year.
The cash option is estimated around $184.2 million.
The odds of winning the jackpot are slim to none -- one in 175 million -- but not totally impossible.
The last big Powerball winner in Michigan was a Three Rivers woman who won a $310 million jackpot in the September 30 drawing.
So don't forget a ticket, which cost $2 a piece. You can't win if you don't play! Tickets can be purchased until 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
