ESPN's Adam Schefter Confirms He Has Been Working On Something About Dez Bryant Since September
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant could become a free agent.
The Cowboys are faced with the same problem the Lions have with Ndamukong Suh. Do you franchise your best player or do you sign him long-term?
Another interesting fact about Bryant is the rumor about a tape circulating among some members of the media featuring Bryant and something terrible. It's been described behind the scenes as "damning" and there are lots of references to Ray Rice in descriptions of it.
No one exactly knows what is on the video, but the rumor mill is working overtime.
You can read all about it HERE.
Dez Bryant himself has sent out a tweet that looks to be in response to rumors about the tape.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was on with Carmen and Jurko from ESPN 1000 Wednesday and was asked about the Dez Bryant situation.
In the interview, Schefter seemed hesitant to talk about Bryant.
When he was asked about Bryant initially he said, "That's a very interesting question."
"Um, I'll just say this. Check back with me on that one, Schefter continued. Heard about it? Yeah. I have not seen it."
Schefter went on to say, "It's taken up a lot of my time this season, I'll say that. You know whatever we have been working on isn't ready yet, maybe never will be, who knows."
Schefter did continue to say he has been working on a story since September. "Like I said I've been working on it since September. There's a lot involved."
Bottom line, Schefter really doesn't seem to know exactly what is going on with the tape. "People can talk about videos, they can talk about this, they can talk about that," he said. "Fact of the matter is it doesn't mean anything and it's really not fair to him until you have all your facts in line. That's what we have been trying to do."
Will there ever be a "tape" released?
