Former West Virginia guard Eron Harris is becoming a Michigan State Spartan. Harris announced Monday that he has decided to attend Michigan State and will become part of the Michigan State hoops squad for the 2015-16 season. Harris will have to sit out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA Rules and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Harris, 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, averaged 17.2 ppg in 33 games for West Virginia last season.
Harris is a native of Indianapolis and is the first transfer to the Spartans since Brandon Wood came from Valpo in 2011.
