Severe weather moves through southeast Michigan Sunday

Severe weather update and look at damage

(CBS DETROIT) - Storms moved through southeast Michigan Sunday. Storm reports have been coming in with many fallen limbs and downed trees. Wind gusts were documented at 58 m.p.h. at Willow Run Airport and 61 m.p.h. at Detroit Metro Airport. Fifty thousand power outages are spread across the area.

Widespread showers and possible thunderstorms will continue into Monday and Tuesday. However, the threat for severe weather will not continue into the work week.
