Elderly Detroit Man Found Safe After 2-Day Disappearance
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say an elderly man who went missing earlier this week has been found safe and unharmed.
Just after 10 a.m. Friday, police said 77-year-old Lawrence Mack Gill was located and had been reunited with family. Other circumstances surrounding his recovery were not released.
Gill was reported missing after being last seen by his daughter around 8 p.m. Wednesday at his home in the 6700 block of Stahelin, in a west side neighborhood along the Southfield Freeway and Warren Avenue.
It was the first time Gill had been reported missing.
