When your toughness is challenged by a player on the opposing team, I'm pretty sure it just adds fuel to the fire for a professional athlete.
Keeping that in mind, note that Lance Stephenson of the Indiana Pacers had a few choice words for Dwayne Wade before game one of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Here is what Stephenson said about Wade, according to palmbeachpost.com:
"D. Wade — I think his knee is messed up, so I've got to be extra aggressive and make him run and have him running around and make his knee flare up or something," he said after the Pacers practiced this afternoon. "I'll do anything as much as possible."
Wade led the Heat in scoring in game 1 with 27. Now Wade seems to be firing himself up before game 2, as he is wearing Bad Boys socks that feature Isiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer.
