SUPER BOWL XLVIII FEBRUARY 2ND 6:25 PM -MET LIFE STADIUM -EAST RUTHERFORD NEW JERSEY

(CURRENT LINE DENVER -2.5 TOTAL 48.5--69% OF BETTING PUBLIC ON BRONCOS-55% ON THE UNDER)

Ohhhhh boy!! Well we learned a bunch of things as the final gun sounded in the crisp clean air of Seattle and the Super Bowl 48 matchup became set two weeks ago.

Richard Sherman is a lunatic, Jim Harbaugh might want to consider coming back to Michigan, and we are in for what could be one of the best Super Bowl's in recent memory.

Let's recap how we got here..... First in the AFC Peyton Manning continued to back up what might be the best season by a QB in NFL history with razor-sharp passes and almost flawless play as the Broncos took down the Pats in a game that was not as close as the final 26-16 score indicated.

Then in the NFC we saw one of the better Championship games in years as the Niners ad hawks battled back and forth in the loudest stadium in North America. In the end even though the Niners seemed like the team that was much more ready to play with the pressure on, Seattle got the job done with a phenomenal and gutsy 4th and 7 -35 yard TD pass from Russell-Mania Wilson to Jermaine Kearse.

Then one of the most timely interceptions in title game history as it looked like it was all but a done deal that Kaepernick and the Niners were going to score and get out of Century Link with an insane last second win.

Now its time for the first outdoor cold weather Super Bowl and a true contrast of QB's. Manning looking to ride into the sunset a-la John Elway with these same Broncos back in 1998 the last time Denver played in the big game.

On the other side second year phenom Russell Wilson who will likely be back many times again with the play he has shown so far in his young career, but could make an early career statement and stop one of the games greatest ever from his final crowing achievement.

The best offense in the NFL vs the best defense. Two coaches that have truly come into their own as some of the best in the game. Two franchises with fan bases that are as rabid as you can get. We have been lucky in recent years that after so many duds on Super Sunday, we have had some amazing games. This one will be no different from the recent trend of nail biters that go down to the wire and might end up as one of the greatest of all-time.

I think we are going to see the extra week of preparation come into full play as the Broncos are going to run the ball a tremendous amount more than their tendency has been all season to try to combat the excellent Seattle secondary. On the other side the Hawks are going to pass the ball at a much higher clip then they have over the past several weeks en route to the Super Bowl.

In the end the Broncos will just have too much in all three phases. The Denver D will force a huge Seahawks turnover late and the Broncos WR's will just be too much for the leagues best D to handle. Peyton Manning knows this is his time, his moment to grab a hold of, his legacy to echo through eternity.

He will answer the challenge and lead his team to an epic win and the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Then the questions will begin as soon as the fireworks start to go off in the New York/New Jersey night sky...Is he the greatest of all-time?
