Did Same Suspect Rob TCF Banks 3 Times?
TROY (WWJ) - Police are asking for help from the public to identify a suspect who may be involved in three different robberies at two TCF Bank locations in Troy.
The most recent robbery happened Tuesday, October 27, around 10:50 a.m. at the TCF Bank on Coolidge in Troy. The suspect, a white man about 5'9" to 5'11" tall, and believed to be in his 30s or 40s, went into the bank and demanded money. He stated he had a weapon but one was never seen.
Police believe that the suspect robbed that same TCF Bank in April. During the April incident, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, stonewashed type jeans and brown shoes.
Meanwhile, the same man is believed to be the person who robbed the TCF Bank on E. Big Beaver in Troy on September 10, 2015 at 11:15 a.m.
During the September incident, the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black tape over the chest logo, a black ball cap with tape over the logo, gray pants and possibly dark colored loafer shoes.
