Detroit To Denver Delta Airlines Flight Subject Of Security Threat
DETROIT (WWJ) - A spokesman for Delta Air Lines tells WWJ that passengers on a flight to Denver have been cleared by the FBI and are collecting their belongings -- after a security threat was reported on board the plane.
Flight 1500 from Detroit to Denver was taxied to a remote area after landing safely at Denver International Airport, at 4:40pm (Denver time) Friday.
The 151 passengers had been transported to a remote location and held for several hours for screening and questioning. The plane -- a Boeing 737 -- was also searched by authorities... and cleared. It was scheduled to remain in Denver.
There's no information about the potential threat or how it was reported. And no word on what, if anything, was found on the plane.
