Detroit Police Seek Help Tracking Down Vehicle Involved In Critical Hit-And-Run

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a critical hit-and-run pedestrian accident.

On May 10, officers were flagged down by a group of people near Plymouth and Montrose on the city's west side where they saw a 38-year-old female victim lying in the eastbound lanes of Plymouth Rd. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

The vehicle was driven by an unknown person and is described as a forest green 1996-2002 Chevy Express Conversion Van with a high top. The vehicle's driver's side view mirror is missing and one of the two light bulb on the right tail light is not working.
