Detroit Police Search For Missing Woman Suffering From Schizophrenia And Dementia

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are looking for a woman who they say is suffering from schizophrenia and dementia.

Cheryl Williams, 52, was last seen at her home on Auburn Street on Wednesday morning. She and her family recently relocated there from the Joy Rd. and Greenfield area. Police say she walked away from the home and hasn't returned, and that this is her first time being reported as missing.

Williams is described as an African-American,  5-foot-3, 145 pounds, has blonde braids weaved into her black hair, last seen wearing a red and black jogging suit, dark blue sweatshirt with a hood, and grey and pink Nike tennis shoes.
