Detroit Police Investigate Shooting At Chandler Park
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit man is recovering after being shot while at Chandler Park on the city's east side.
Police say the 51-year old was at the park, near I-94 and Connor Street, just before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a someone driving a silver Chrysler pulled up alongside him and fired two gunshots.
The man was able to drive to his home near Mack Avenue and Cadieux Road and call for help. His injuries were described as non-life threatening.
Police do not yet have any suspects.
