Delta Gate Agent Sings The National Anthem To WWII Vets Boarding Flight For D-Day Anniversary
ROMULUS (CBS DETROIT) - Tears of joy were shed at Detroit Metro Airport on Monday, June 2 as Anna Mari Barile, a Delta Airlines employee sang The Star-Spangled Banner on the public address system in honor of World War II veterans.
The veterans were boarding a flight to Paris for the 70th anniversary of D-Day on June 6.
