Dearborn Man Accused Of Raping Woman Who Answered Job Offer To Clean Homes

CANTON (WWJ) - Authorities say a 45-year-old Dearborn man accused of raping a woman who answered a job offer to clean homes has been charged in the case.

Ali Mohamad-Sahrif Al-Aboosi was arraigned last week in 35th District Court on charges of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration (a 10-year felony) and fourth degree criminal sexual conduct -- force or coercion (a 2-year misdemeanor).

The victim told police that she had met Al-Aboosi through a job offer to clean homes. On the day of the incident, April 12, police say Al-Aboosi drove the victim to a vacant home in Canton, where the alleged sexual assault occurred. Other details were not immediately released.

Al-Aboosi pleaded not guilty to the charges and bond was set at $150,000. He's due back in court on April 29 for a probable cause conference.
