Chris Webber Wants To Own The Atlanta Hawks

Former NBA All-Star and Michigan native Chris Webber announced today that he has contacted the NBA about potentially owning the Atlanta Hawks in the near future.

He said "The Webber Group" expressed intentions to acquire the majority interest of the Atlanta Hawks. Their goals are to establish a team of high character individuals, give back to the local community, and keep the team in Atlanta forever.

The Hawks are currently the 27th valued franchise in the NBA, worth $425 million according to Forbes.
