Chevrolet and Man Utd. Reveal New Home Shirt

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - Chevrolet and Manchester United unveiled Monday the new home jersey for the popular English soccer team which features the automaker's trademark bowtie on the front of the shirt.
The new shirt, revealed in a YouTube video featuring fans and various members of the team singing the "Glory, Glory Man Utd" anthem, begins a seven-year agreement for Chevrolet to be the shirt sponsor of Manchester United.
"Our presence on the new Manchester United home shirt is a highly anticipated moment for the club's more than 659 million followers around the globe, and for the Chevrolet brand," said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, Global Chevrolet, in a release.
In addition to releasing the new video, Chevrolet has launched an interactive website, www.ChevroletFC.com, where fans can upload their photos to see themselves in the new shirt.
The release of the new shirt comes before Manchester United, one of the most popular soccer teams in the world, embarks on tour of the United States. This includes a match in August against Real Madrid at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
