Gibraltar Carlson moves to 6-1 with win over rival Woodhaven

CBS News Detroit streaming Woodhaven-Gibraltar Carlson high school football game Friday

(CBS DETROIT) - Gibraltar Carlson moved to 6-0 in Downriver League play Friday with a 31-8 win over rival Woodhaven in a game seen here on CBS News Detroit.

CBS News Detroit and State Champs Sports Networks streamed the action live Friday night.

Carlson (6-1, 6-0 Downriver) took a commanding 31-0 lead to the half en route to its third straight win in the series.

Woodhaven (2-5, 2-4 Downriver) got on the scoreboard late in the fourth quarter.

Carlson is back in action at home against Allen Park on Friday, Oct. 13, while Woodhaven travels to Lincoln Park.
